Brief Vitae & Resume
Brett Dillingham performs and teaches storytelling in Ireland, England, Germany, Hungary, Russia, Viet Nam, Costa Rica, Africa, Canada, Alaska and the Lower 48 states. His work has been presented at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, and he has performed live storytelling on National Public Radio, the Calgary International Children's Festival, the National American Reads conference, the Reading Association of Ireland, the National Migrant Education conference, the World Congress on Reading and the International Reading Association. In his workshops, Brett teaches reading, writing, and performance literacy. He is the author of the children's book Raven Day and the K-8 textbook Performance Literacy Through Storytelling (http://maupinhouse.com/index.php/performance-literacy-through-storytelling.html). He is the past president of the Alaska State Literacy Association.
